Welder/Boilermaker

 What we’re looking for:

  • Trade qualification or relevant welding/fabrication experience
  • Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings.
  • Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to your work.
 

In this role, you’ll

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to perform welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Carry out welding duties (GMAW, TIG, Stick) along with cutting, grinding, and other fabrication processes.
  • Ensure all work meets quality, specification, and safety requirements.
  • Complete documentation accurately, including job, build , and time records.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting apprentices and junior employees.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by following WHS procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
  • Maintain equipment correctly and only operate machinery with training and competency sign-off.

  •  Skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painter to prepare, prime, and finish trailers to the highest
    quality standards
  • Demonstratable knowledge of spray-painting techniques
  • Can complete assigned tasks in a timely and safe manner as per build specs and current schedule of works

  •  Relevant trade certificate
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a similar industry (Manufacturing, Transportation,
    Trailer)
  • Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance processes

Warehouse and Stores

As a leading Australian manufacturer of high-quality custom freight trailers, GLT is dedicated to excellence in craftsmanship and a customer-centric approach to manufacturing.

 What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a motivated Stores Person to join our team and play a key role in keeping GLT running smoothly. This involves:

  • Receiving and dispatching goods accurately and safely.
  • Making sure stock records are up to date and correct.
  • Organising the store to keep it clean, safe, and efficient.
  • Supporting production with kits, tools, and components when needed.
 

About you:

  • A safety-first approach in everything you do.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Teamwork, reliability, and clear communication.
  • Takes pride in service delivery and in a tidy and presentable environment.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of the role.
  • Previous store/warehouse experience (manufacturing or transport experience an advantage).
  • Good computer skills for stock control systems and record keeping.
  • Forklift licence including high read forklift experience.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials (within safe weight limits).
  • Comfortable with manual handling, standing, rotating, squatting and moving throughout the day.
  • Commitment to safe work practices at all times.
