GLT Trailers New Trailer Range

First New Trailers Leave GLT’s State Of The Art Facility

In the world of transportation, efficiency and reliability are critical. For businesses relying on tipper trailer transport solutions, the quality of equipment can make all the difference. That’s why the recent milestone achieved by GLT Trailers marks a significant leap forward in the industry.

Picture this: gleaming in lightning-strike silver, two sets of 30-metre PBS A-Double Road Train combinations stand proudly, ready to hit the road. These aren’t just any trailers. They represent the culmination of GLT’s dedication to excellence and innovation.

The journey began with a vision: to streamline trailer production and deliver unrivalled quality—all under one roof. GLT’s new 15,000-square-metre facility features advanced automation capabilities, including a 5-axis machine (one of only two in Australia), state-of-the-art CNC plasma cutters, routers, sandblasting facilities, and multiple paint booths. These cutting-edge technologies ensure precision and efficiency at every stage of the manufacturing process.

And the first trailers to emerge from this facility? They were tailor-made for one of our key customers, Pat Harrold of PJ Harrolds, pioneers in agricultural bulk haulage based in South Australia. Their trust in our capabilities speaks volumes about the quality of our products and the reliability of our service.

So, what sets these trailers apart? Besides their striking appearance, featuring royal blue pelmet-style PVC tarps, they embody a new standard of excellence in trailer design. Each detail, from the drop deck end-tippers to the meticulous craftsmanship, reflects our commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

In Pat Harrold’s words, he sums it up:

“GLT is the benchmark. You set the bar for everyone else and continue to raise the bar. You are market leaders, market innovators. Everything is measured against a GLT. Everything is simple. Simply the best!”

This milestone. producing the first set of trailers at the new site for Pat Jarrold, is particularly exciting because it showcases the synergy of our expanded GLT team. They have come together in the new facility to design, fabricate, and manufacture the first of many new trailers. This collaborative effort has tested and proven the efficiencies we now have under one roof, promising an exciting future for GLT and our customers.

Tim Barrit, GLT’s Sales Representative, expressed his pride:

Seeing the trailers being made from start to finish at our new facility was incredibly rewarding. It was especially gratifying to know how happy it made our long-term customer, Pat Harrold. This achievement truly reflects our dedication to delivering the best solutions.”

Rigorous quality checks and testing throughout the entire build process ensure that every GLT trailer meets the highest standards of performance and durability. GLT also adheres to lean manufacturing methods to maximise productivity while minimising waste, ensuring efficient use of resources and reducing environmental impact.

By consolidating all operations under one roof, GLT ensures seamless coordination and quality control at every stage of the manufacturing process. This means faster turnaround times, enhanced customisation options, and ultimately, peace of mind for our customers.

For businesses in need of tipper trailer transport solutions, this milestone is more than just a cause for celebration. It’s a promise of reliability and efficiency. Whether you’re hauling agricultural goods or transporting construction materials, GLT is committed to delivering solutions that drive success.
